Privacy Statement

In accordance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), the Insigne Journal of Humanities follows the guidelines established by Law No. 13.709/2018. The data provided through user registration and submissions are used exclusively for the services offered by the IJH, meaning they are not shared with third parties for other purposes.

The data is used to:

  • Facilitate communication between the Journal and its users, such as authors, reviewers, and registered readers, allowing, for example, the table of contents to be sent by email with each new edition, as well as notifications about the editorial workflow.
  • Promote the scientific dissemination of published texts, including information about authors and co-authors as an exemplary practice of ethical publication in scientific journals (e.g., email provided by the author, name, ORCID, Lattes, and institutional affiliation).

All data is stored in the OJS (Open Journal System) and is accessed only by the Journal's technical team for editorial purposes.
