With great enthusiasm, we present the 6th edition of the Insigne Journal of Humanities, consolidating our purpose of fostering critical, plural, and interdisciplinary debate on the issues that shape contemporary society.

This volume reflects the diversity and depth required to understand the challenges of our time. The works gathered here move through fruitful dialogues between Law and Art—analyzing human dignity through the poetics of Chico Buarque—and address urgent social themes, such as over-indebtedness in consumer relations and the flaws of photographic recognition in criminal proceedings, viewed through the lens of epistemic injustice and structural racism.

This edition also turns its gaze toward the Amazon, discussing the invisibility of indigenous peoples in access to social security and the leading role of traditional practices in promoting sustainability. Furthermore, this issue explores technological and historical frontiers, debating everything from the role of educational institutions in the Brazilian Artificial Intelligence strategy to the recovery of political memory, with studies on university surveillance during the dictatorship and the pioneering spirit of women's citizenship in Rio Grande do Norte.

We express our deep gratitude to the authors for their valuable contributions, as well as to the editorial team and reviewers, whose rigor and dedication were fundamental to the realization of this work.

We hope that this 6th edition serves as a source of inspiration and knowledge, stimulating critical readings and strengthening the academic community's commitment to justice, memory, and social innovation.
